"Mummy, mummy, mummy."
Daisy said as she ran into the living room, tears streaming down her face. As soon as she was in reach Aria leaned down and picked her up holding her close to her side whist rubbing her back and stroking her hair.
"What's the matter baby?" Aria asked doing her best to calm her down
"I...I…Bad dream" Daisy stuttered out.
"Honey it's okay it was just a dream, it's not real" Ezra said softly reaching out and wiping away his daughters tears.
"But…I'm still scared" Daisy said as she buried her head into Aria's side trying to block the memories of the nightmare away.
"How about I get us some ice cream and me, you and daddy will watch The Little Mermaid, your favorite"
"Okay" Daisy said flatly.
Before standing and heading to the kitchen she passed Daisy to Ezra who immediately cradled her in his arms and began tickling her to make her smile.
In the kitchen Aria could hear Daisy's joyful laughter and knew Ezra's attempts at making his daughter smile was working just as it always did. Minutes later Aria came back with their ice cream and started the DVD, However her and Ezra ended up watching more than Daisy as she fell asleep just before half way and was now emitting soft snores, causing Ezra to have a huge smile on his face. 'she's just like her mother' he thought to himself as he pulled Aria close as the pair enjoyed the rest of the film that was now their favorite too.
