Those words of yours, they disappeared as soon as you went. Lies. Lies. This world has constantly lied to me. You promised a world, a world for just me and you but those words just flew away in the wind. Now my thoughts are dyed crimson and I am on an everlasting journey to have you by my side again. You are my Promised World
I awoke from another blood-covered dream. I turned, twisted but I knew I couldn't move any further. My legs have been unable to move since that day, the day you left me, my prince in shining armour. I wanted you by my side but you disappeared without a trace. That dream...no nightmare, is a distorted fairy tale that ends in tragedy. My love why did you leave.
Slowly, I managed to sit up to see a close friend of mine standing at the end of the bed. She was tired. I gazed upon her body as she made her way towards me.
"I wanted that devoted, distorted Brave Story...he was going on about" I turned my head to see her looking at me with worry. She tried to reach out for me but I brushed her hand away. Her hand was too warm for how I felt now, it hurt just to look at her with my deformed heart. She then drew her hand back into her chest and sat down on a chair by the bed where I'm stuck lying for the rest of my days.
"This isn't right...you should just stop worrying about him, there is no point." The tone in her voice dropped and she stared at me. The same look he gave to me, he always looked worried.
"I want to find him, I want to be by his side again" I explained briefly but I couldn't convince her. "Is this good enough? Is the pain good enough? Every day of my life since then has been torture, I at least want to see him...just once more."
She sighed and stood up. Then she strides to the door, she opened it. CREAK. The door was old and that was expected however I never expected for her to turn back and say. "I promise to find him"
The determined look as she left the room was clear she didn't want to let this friend down but when she started to search an even more horrific fate approached.
*Flashback moment*
"I'm sorry, I lost control there isn't anything left for me in this world. So I shall leave you, I will head to the promised world without you for now. Just remember me" He stared at the moon, grinning. He reached his arm out and grabbed the cherry blossom petals that were coming towards us. "Just like a fairy tale right."
Covered in crimson another memory fades in a minute.
*Old Music Room*
"What is this?" An old piano stood in the middle of the room, she ran towards it. Opened the lid and to her shock...millions of finished piano pieces. Covered in blood, blood she thinks is his. She flicked through each piece. Everyone was different and part of the stories I had once told her. But she didn't know that every step she took, I knew what I needed to do. This is the end, my dear friend. You found the truth and now I will go back into my forgetful state, hiding my true feelings.
BANG
A bullet shot across the room at a high speed, right through her heart. The person holding the gun was in fact me. Smoke came out of the gun as I stared at the dead body in horror of what I just did. I strolled up the cold body and dropped it, my lover's necklace. I grinned just like he did back then.
"Dear friend, please forgive me for this"
The truth won't be found.
Not as long as I'm still waiting for my Promised World.
