Mari Takahashi was sad.
Peter, her (now ex) boyfriend, had been cheating on her for two years now. She had come home to a make out session with him and the slut he'd been hooking up with... And kicked him out immediately.
With no shoulder to cry on, Mari ran, sobbing. She didn't care where, she just ran blindly through the city of Sacramento, until she bumped into a familiar someone...
"S-Sohinki!" Mari said between sobs.
"Mari?" Matt Sohinki said. "What are you doing out here this late?" His expression softened when he saw her face. "What happened?" He asked gently.
"P-Peter was cheating on me!"
"What?" How could've Peter been cheating on someone as perfect as Mari? Sohinki thought to himself. "Let's go to my place, Mari. We can talk there."
Mari nodded, sniffling.
