Unsent Letter
A short drabble I just thought of while writing The Secrets of Lily Potter (This though will probably be developed there)
Nothing big really, just think of the possibilites they could've been -- enjoy
And -- I'm not buyin the whole Severus cared about James enough to care for the lifedebt (That ultimatly saved Harry)

Severus sighted at first, it was what he had feared. The life debt was real but as he read the letter written with the tidy handwriting he couldn't help but smile, there was still hope.
He was already in life debt according to Lilys research so he wrote to tell her on a piece of parchment, twice, but decided to forget it.
There, in the trashbin under the Slytherin bed of Severus Tobias Snape was a letter that the auburn corridors and stairs away waited for but never got.
