---------------------------------
Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi stepped off the lift to the Jedi Council member's quarters and accessed the third door from the right. Adi Gallia stood in front of him, he bowed.
OBI-WAN: Hello Master Gallia, is Siri here?
ADI: She's... getting packed.
Obi-Wan walked into Siri's quarters, she was no where to be found. Obi-Wan glanced at the table a small holoprojecter flashed various images. Qui-Gon appeared on the holoprojecter and a sudden sadness loomed over Obi-Wan. He thought about his master more and more and wished he had his help now; his Padawan had been distant since their return from Nar Shaddaa. Suddenly Siri appeared.
SIRI: Hello.
OBI-WAN: Hi.
Obi-Wan felt uncomfortable in the silence.
OBI-WAN: I, uh, hear you've been knighted.
SIRI: Yeah.
Their gazes met and Obi-Wan dropped his head. Right now she had a gaze as powerful as Master Windu's.
OBI-WAN: Listen, Siri, I just came here to, uh, apologize.
SIRI: Apologize?
Obi-Wan detected a hint of amusement in her voice.
OBI-WAN: About what I said to you on Krayn's ship.
SIRI: I was working undercover; it's not your fault.
OBI-WAN: Yeah, but I realized afterwards, how much it must have hurt... I... didn't mean to hurt you.
There was a long pause, Siri's face went serious.
SIRI: I said the same to you once...
Obi-Wan felt shamed, he had deserved those words, he felt.
Suddenly he felt something change, a sort of lightness, the connection between him and Siri that had been severed after long years seemed to meet.
SIRI: You didn't deserve them, Obi-Wan.
She put her hand on his shoulder and smiled at him, a smile he didn't see from her very often, a warm, kind smile.
SIRI: So I have a proposal, I'll forgive you if you forgive me.
OBI-WAN: Deal.
Obi-Wan didn't feel as uncomfortable anymore; the room took on a lighter atmosphere.
SIRI: Great. What do you say you and I go down to Astri & Didi's and grab some lunch?
OBI-WAN: I'm afraid I've spent all my credits trying to rescue you.
SIRI: Don't worry; I'll make you pay later... So you really though I was a traitor?
OBI-WAN: Well you're a very convincing actress. I found out the truth eventually, although I had my doubts when you pushed my ship into a whirling fan.
SIRI: I'd hate to meet a Jedi who would leave the Order and betray their friends to the dark side. I can't imagine a being like that...
----
The tall man with the cape stepped off of the ramp of his personal cruiser. He walked down the deteriorated corridor in a forgotten temple. The ominous caped figure stood before him, he bowed.
SIDIOUS: Arise my old friend; I trust your visit to Kamino was productive.
TYRANUS: The Force is with us, Lord Sidious. 900 units have completed combat training and 200 more have started. And also, my master, Krayn's slave trade has fallen. The Smuggler's Moon is within our grasp.
SIDIOUS: You've done well, Lord Tyranus. Nar Shaddaa is already ours. Once again, young Skywalker has been instrumental in our success. He will be a powerful asset in the future...
Tyranus took his place next to his master; they gazed out towards the Jedi Temple.
SIDIOUS: Come we have much work to be done.
