In no way do I own the characters that you recognize!!!

Home for the holidays in her seventh year, Lily attended her best friends fall festival party. Since she was muggleborn, most of Lily's friends in England were muggles that she went to elementary school with. Lily walked over to Bridgett's house and began playing pool with Mark and Karlee, Bridgett's neighbors, when she was tapped on the shoulder. Lily turned around and stood face to face with Bridgett, who asked to speak to Lily.

"Someone just told me that he likes you."

"Really? Who?"

"Follow me." Bridgett led Lily into her house and blindfolded her.

"Why are you doing this?" Lily questioned Bridgett.

"Because I want it to be a surprise!"

"You want what to be a surprise?"

"The person that likes you wants to take you for a drive around the city," Bridgett said as she led Lily toward the mystery man's truck.

"Do I know this guy?"

"Yes, you do. Therefore, you have nothing to worry about. I would trust this person with my life. Just go with the flow and have a good time."

"Okay! I will try my best."

Lily got into the truck and the driver started the engine. Lily buckled up and then smelled something familiar.

"Where have I smelled this before? It must be at Hogwarts, but no one around here goes to school with me, I don't think."

"You have your cell phone with you, don't you?" Bridgett asked Lily.

"Yes, of course."

"I will call you when it is safe to take off the blindfold. Until then, no talking. Either of you.

Lily and her mystery person drove in silence for about five minutes when her cell phone started vibrating.

"Hello?"

"Hey. You may take your blindfold off now. Do not worry and be calm. Hear him out before asking to come home. Have fun and be yourself. I will see you in thirty minutes. Maybe!"

With that, Bridgett hung up the phone and Lily waited another minute before taking off the blindfold. Lily kept her eyes closed as she took off her blindfold. As she slowly opened her eyes, she focused her eyes forward, sort of nervous to see who was driving her around.

"Nervous?"

At the sound of the voice, Lily turned to look at the driver and saw James, her crush of three months.

"That is where I knew the smell from!"
