CPR.
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
It was horrible and terrifying as they stared at their motionless friend on the ground.
"Oh X-Hal, he's not moving!" Starfire shrieked in a panic.
"Raven, your magic! Can you do something!?" Robin asked desperately as he knelt down to his friend's level.
Raven put on a calm, determined face. "Stay back, I'll need quiet." She told them sternly. She needed to concentrate if this was going to work. She quickly went to her knees and got down to his level, putting her fingers to his neck.
Nothing.
She then moved and put her ear to his mouth.
Nothing.
"Damn it!" She swore before immediately overlapping her hands and pounding on his chest, counting every thrust. She then stopped and did a small chant as healing power shot from her fingers and jolted him.
Nothing.
"Come on Gar!" She said through gritted teeth as she continued to thrust her hands against his chest.
The others watched in suspense as she stopped and jolted him again with power.
Nothing.
Cyborg bit down on his metal finger as Robin held a hysterical Starfire. Even Raven was beginning to panic and with one swift movement she propped herself on top of him and pounded harder on his chest.
It wasn't working.
She said her chant one more time before quickly leaning down to his face. She pinched his nose and with the other hand held his chin as she blew air into his lungs. She pulled back and pounded harder on his chest, getting more desperate by the minute. "Come on Gar!" She shouted franticly. She put her mouth on his again and blew, not noticing him slightly twitching beneath her. His eyes flickered open as he sat up and before she could pull away from their lip contact he put his hand on the back of her neck, and her eyes widened as he kissed her. She was shocked by his gesture and quickly pushed him away, covering her mouth with her hand. "What are you doing?!" She gasped.
"What do you mean? You kissed me first!" He stated, a sly grin on his lips.
"Oh friend, I am so happy you are alright!" Starfire shouted immediately hugging the changeling.
"You really scared us there buddy." Cyborg said patting him on the back in relief.
"Did you really have to stick your tongue in my mouth?" Raven spat from the corner in disgust. Beast Boy smirked and playfully hissed a lizard tongue out at her.
"I can't believe they kissed." Starfire said towards the others in skepticism.
"What?!" Raven shouted, turning towards them.
"Yeah, it definitely caught me off guard." Robin stated.
"It was CPR!" Raven demanded.
"Do you taste tofu?" Cyborg joked.
Raven was stunned at her friend's reactions to this serious matter. "Why are we focusing on the kiss and not the fact that he wasn't breathing?!" Raven shouted.
"I thought you said it was CPR?" Cyborg said with a smirk.
Raven blinked before crossing her arms and pouting, "I hate you all."
