Charlie Weasley lay in bed, late in the morning, still unwilling to open his eyes. No work today. No chores. No errands. No visitors. He smiled. Just warmth, sleep…and Draco.
He sighed softly against the younger man's chest, and slowly opened his brown eyes. Sunlight streamed across their bed, casting light shadows in the dips and folds of the rumpled sheets. Charlie pressed his ear closer to Draco's chest, finding his steady heart beat and grinning. Their upper bodies rose and fell in unison with Draco's breaths, and Charlie couldn't repress a full smile at the image they made. He looked down at his own arm, draped across the finely muscled stomach. Tan on pale; freckles and red hair contrasting creamy, smooth skin. He turned his head, resting his chin under Draco's collar bone, and let his gaze travel over the fine featured blonde. Draco's hair, so unlike Charlie's own, lay pale and straight across his smooth forehead. Charlie gently pulled an arm from between them and ran a finger under the blonde fringe, trailing down Draco's aristocratic nose. He shifted in his sleep and sighed, earning another grin from the man above him. Scooting further up the mattress, Charlie pressed his broad chest to Draco's, feeling their heartbeats battle for unison. Draco's eyelids fluttered open, and Charlie dropped his head to muffle the questioning murmur with a deep kiss.
"Good morning" He whispered as the parted.
"I'd say." Draco returned with a sleepy smile.
