This takes place during Born This Way (2x18) after the Lucy Caboosy thing happened.

Sam POV

I heard someone crying in the glee room. I walked in to see Quinn crying in the corner.

"Quinn what's wrong?"

"I'm ugly and fat"

"No you're not"

"I was. There's no way I could be prom queen now. Because of Lauren getting back together with Finn was useless"

"What do you mean getting back together with Finn was useless?"

"I only got back together with him to win prom queen" She mumbled something I couldn't hear.

"What did you say?"

"Do you really wanna know what I said?"

"Yes"

"I said he kept my mind off of you. I miss you. I got back together with him to be prom queen and to get over you. But it didn't work"

"What do you mean it didn't work?"

"I wanted to make you jealous and break up with Santana for me. You broke up with her because she sang trouty mouth not because you were jealous of Finn because he was with me. Look Sam, I made a mistake. The second worst mistake I've ever made. Puck was the worst. Making out with Finn when I was with you was my second worst mistake. When I told you that I wanted to be with you after you broke up with me I meant it. I still wanna be with you. But I know I can never be with you again. Not because I was fat and ugly but because I'm a lying cheater. I'm beautiful on the outside but I'm just as ugly as Lucy Caboosy was on the inside" I didn't know she still felt like this about me. I took her face and pulled it closer to me. I kissed her softly.

"You are as beautiful on the inside as you are on the outside"

"Only when I was with you. Can I have a second chance?" I kissed her again.

"Only if you break up with Finn"

Quinn POV

"I don't wanna be with you" I said to Finn.

"Why Quinn? Is it because you think I'm still in love with Rachel? Because I'm not. I wanna be with you"

"Well I don't wanna be with you"

"Why don't you wanna be with me?" He asked.

"Sam" I said under my breath.

"What did you say?" He asked.

"I said Sam okay! I wanna be with him. I've always wanted to be with him. You were a distraction so I wouldn't think about him. Now you're free. Free to be with the one girl you truly love, Rachel" I said. Finn left to, no doubt, ask Rachel out. I went to the glee room to tell Sam I broke up with Finn.

"I broke up with Finn" I told Sam "So now we can be together"

"I love you"

"I love you. Always have always will"
