When he was eight years old

Ryou was Eight years old when his dad was taking Him to the pound to fish.

A little girl came through the front gate holdin a fishing pole
His dad looked down and smiled, said we cant leave her behind

A young girl about Ryou's age came running through the front gate of the house. She had Strawberry red hair and chocolate brown eyes. She was carrying a fishing pole, his dad looked down at him "We can't leave Ichigo here son"

Ryou was in the waiting room of the hospital when the doctor came out. Ryou walked up to him and the doctor started to talk "The baby's fine but I'm afraid I'll have to ask you to leave. Shes dieing quickly" Ryou had made it to the hallway of the hospital when he feel to his knees and prayed "Please god I'll give My life if you spare her God please don't take her"
