Hello this is a one shot that is a trial run for writing InuYasha. Tell me what you think.

By the way I don't own InuYasha. All I own is a keychain, the Movie's and a shirt. You wouldn't see me ever holding the chibi InuYasha plushies those are just creepy.

"SIT! SIT! SIT! AND SIT!"

The miko from the future towered above him as InuYasha was once more sat into oblivion. As InuYasha struggled to rise from the hole in the ground Kagome ran to the well. She jumped inside and was gone. InuYasha was soon free and stomped off.

But as always a few days later he was seen hopping though the well. As he came to the other side he sniffed the air. There was the regular stench of pollution but then InuYasha caught the sent of old parchment and incense. InuYasha rolled his eyes. Great now he would have to get past the old man. As InuYasha jumped out of the well he saw the old man's bowed form. For once the old man didn't throw charms at him. In fact he didn't seem to notice him at all. InuYasha walked over to the old man to make sure that he was okay. It wasn't that he cared but Kagome would kill him if anything had happened to him while InuYasha was around. He really wanted his backbone to stay in one piece. So he walked over to the old coot resigning himself to a lecture. What happened was Grandpa looked up. His eyes seemed hollow and when he spoke it was like the voice was coming from a great distance. "Isn't it funny that Kagome is able to travel though the well but all she wants to is come home and live a normal life. But I who's only wish is to go thought the well to you're time is stuck here. I'm tired of people thinking that I'm senile by believing in the old ways. No one believes me about demons. Even Kagome thought it was all rubbish until she stumbled across the well and went to you're time. I know that I have no priest powers but I still wish to protect the shrine. I feel as if I was born in the wrong time. Ah well you probably have no interest in an old man's thoughts. Continue on your way. I have to sweep the stairs."

And so the old man walked off. But InuYasha watched him go for a few seconds before running off for Kagome.

There you have it. I thought that Grandpa deserved a tale. So there you go. Hope it was worth your time and I also hope that you'll take the time to review.

Till next time.
