If this isn't real, then what is?

She loved him.

That's how she rationalized it in her mind. Her breath caught when she saw him. Her nonexistent heart raced whenever she heard his voice. Her stomach fluttered whenever someone said his name. It didn't matter that she was a Nobody, a being devoid of a heart. How else was she supposed to describe it?

Screw what Xemnas said. They had to have emotions, feelings. She felt happy whenever he was around. Complete. It couldn't have just been Kairi's feelings towards him, his other. No, it couldn't. Kairi may have known Sora, but she had never known him. He belonged with Naminé, to Naminé, no one else could have him.

She had always hated Axel for that. The fire-wielding Nobody was his best friend. She hated him for not stopping him. She hated him for taking what valuable time they had together.

She hated him.

How could that be fake? The sincere happiness she had whenever she was around him, the smiles, the laughs? The deep loathing she felt for the redhead who stole him from her, basically ended up killing him? The murderer even had the guts to ask Naminé for help to find him.

Help me find my best friend, Nami. It'll be worth your while.

She did it, too. God, how she hated him, almost more then than any time before. She had to, though. Axel was one of the only people that made him happy. Maybe she could have him back, too. That was all she wanted, to see him again.

Then he disappeared. Vanished into the Keyblade wielder. She hated Axel for that too. He couldn't even say goodbye to her. Or maybe, he wouldn't. It didn't matter. He was still gone.

But, maybe that was okay.

Namine sighed as she settled back into Kairi, became one with her once more. Sora now had him, the Nobody she thought- no, knew- she loved. They were together, just like her and Kairi.

When Sora smiled at her, at Kairi, she saw his sweet face, his gentle sapphires, and she knew it would all be okay.

So long as Sora and Kairi were together, she and Roxas would be too.

Do you remember me now, Roxas?

I think… this is real.
