Well, I didn't ask to be chased by monsters of all shapes and kinds. If I were you, I would close the book now. Retain some sort of innocence. But if you feel it, put the book down immediately. Or they will come for you. But if you are a normal person that somehow likes to read about terrifying monsters, crazy gods and people that generally want to destroy the world, read on and hope you aren't killed by a Nemean Lion halfway through.
