Though they'd been on the meteor for a while, Eridan Ampora had never really run into Terezi alone before. While this was pretty understandable if one were to consider the fact that he rarely ran into anyone alone – and, if he did, they generally left fairly quickly, apart from a few conversations with Karkat and a few conversations with Kanaya – it did make it awkward when he did.

He'd been bored, so he had decided to explore a bit. He knew the general layout of the place, but he didn't know what was in all of the rooms and he didn't know what he would run into if we went down half of those mysterious hallways. So, he'd wandered down one of those mysterious hallways, and he'd found Terezi.

She was sketching something on the floor with chalk, occasionally taking a sniff and occasionally licking it. He watched her for a few moments before his curiosity got the better of him.

"What're you doin'?"

She didn't look at him. She just cackled. He sighed and took hesitant step closer to her. And another one. And another one. And finally he was practically on top of her, staring down at apparently a drawing of nothing.

He scowled. "That's not anything," he said.

"Really?" she said. She dragged her tongue across the floor and he winced. "Tastes pretty delicious to me!"

"Well, I ain't lickin' the floor," he said.

"I didn't ask you to lick the floor! Why would I share?"

He stood for a few more second before sitting down beside her. He kept a hand on his science stick, just in case. He never knew what was going on with Terezi Pyrope.

After a few more minutes, he spoke again. "Are you always a bad host?"

She turned to face him. "Did you want me to kiss you and hug you and pat your head?"

Well, he hadn't actually thought about that, but now that he did, it did sound rather nice. He flushed. "Uh," he said. She sniffed, then pounced on him, bringing her face very close to him.

"You're blushing!"

"Am not!" Eridan said, trying to wriggle away somehow. She cackled, pinning him down. His grip on his science stick loosened a little. "What –"

Her face was still far too close to his for comfort and he was finding it hard to form complete sentences. He swallowed, and she grinned. "Blushing," she said. She climbed off of him, and he sat up, fixing his scarf.

Eridan kept quiet, watching her out of the corner of his eye. She went back to her drawing, and stroke by stroke, he could see that it was actually a drawing of something. A heart. She'd used a bunch of different colors, and they bled together weirdly, especially with how she was licking it every so often and giggling to herself, but it was a heart.

After a while, she stood up, brushing off her knees, and bent over to place a cute little kiss on his nose. "Your gracious host has to leave now!" she said. He just sat there dumbly as she skipped away, humming to herself and biting into her chalk every now and then.

He wasn't sure if he was going to chalk this up as a successful afternoon or not, but he was sure that he might peek down some more of these mysterious hallways.

I've never written Terezi before, so this is… interesting… but, either way, this was requested by an anon on Tumblr who wanted fluffy Eridan/Terezi! It's not super shippy, but it's fluff.
