I run. Faster than anyone can imagine. Knives, spears, maces, tridents, arrows. They are all whizzing past me at unthinkable speeds. My head whips around, my ponytail flinging. I grab as many things as I can before I can sprint away. I breathe heavily, and I see the careers approaching me. All of them. I'm a target! I think to myself. I back away slowly, they have deadly smirks on their faces. "What's your name, 10?" The girl from district 4, Regina, says. She is holding a trident in both of her hands. An obvious threat. "Silver Goldenbey." I murmur. All of them laugh. How do they not notice the chaos going on behind them? "Silver Goldenbey, huh? Well, that explains your hair." She snickers. My hair is the palest blonde there can be. I don't know what to do! Then my district partner comes up behind them. "Um, Regina?" I whisper. They all turn around. They don't notice me run away. Then, the boy from 12 comes running up to me, a knife in his hand. He obviously wants my supplies. I grab the biggest mace I have, And swing it at full force against his head. He screams the loudest out of everyone. Thanks a lot, that helped. The careers see me! "Get her!" The district 1 boy screams! They all come running at me, and Regina is in front. I take them by surprise and kill the district 2 girl with a mace. Yes, the one who got an eleven in training. Blood splatters on all of their faces. Then I run. I freak out and want to get out of here so bad that I kill the two 12 year olds, from district 6 and district 8 who were apparently teaming. I climb up the highest tree so close to the cornucopia that I can see whatever is going on here. I feel something prick my left hand. It's a spine on a branch that is wrapping around this tree at a rapid pace! I climb up to the highest branch. Now I finally have a chance to look at my surroundings.
