Bill's Albion Adventure
By Darktreader98
On a hike in the forest, Bill the hobbe saw a very large footprint. He decided to follow it to see what kind of creature could leave such an incredibly sized print. And so he started down the path. As he walked along, he saw a great many of things. He saw a large treasure chest and a ruined arch. He saw a human with wings and a dog with black fur with said human. And then he saw another human change into a large wolf-like creature that then proceeded to jump into the trees.
"Balvarines," Bill thought to himself, "Can't go anywhere without seeing them around." But nothing that he saw could have made the large footprint that he had seen. So he walked on.
Further down the road, he saw more strange sights. He saw the ghosts of two brothers arguing about a book. He saw a group of humans wearing black clothing and masks waiting for the caravan just around the corner. And then Bill saw the balvarine he had seen earlier jumping silently through the trees towards the black dressed masked humans.
"Oh dear," thought Bill, "This cannot end well." But as the bloodcurdling howls of the balvarine and the screams of its prey echoed through the forest, Bill trudged on, for he was still aiming to find what had left such an enormous footprint.
As he walked he saw more astonishing things. Bill saw a group of hollow men trudge through the Mourningwood Swamp that was their home, making their skeletal, undead noises. He saw a group of strange, long haired, brightly colored humans arguing with a group of soldiers. And he saw the winged human with the dog once more. He trudged onward, following the giant footprints, all the while thinking in his little hobbe brain, "Is it really worth following these footprints? Do I really want to find something so big? Ooh pigeon! Wait, what was I thinking? Oh well." So, with his head empty of thoughts once more, Bill went on.
On his journey, he saw much more. He saw a great stone entity that was most certainly not from Albion. He saw a man with a cane and a great white hat holding a pistol while smiling and speaking. Then he saw the crowd of angry looking people the man in white was talking to. And then he saw a chicken.
As Bill went farther than any hobbe had done before, he started to notice the weather get colder. He was in the mountainous Mistpeak Valley. As he trudged through the foot deep snow, Bill the hobbe saw a pack of wolves. He then saw the pack of wolves start running toward him. He then started to run with the wolves nipping at his heels. He finally managed to escape up a tree, where the wolves stayed trying to get up the tree after him. He let out a number of growls and screeches and other all around incoherent noises which translated back in his language to, "Good doggies! Nice doggies! I don't taste good!" When he finally escaped the wolves, he finally found the creature he had been searching for.
He saw, sleeping under a cliff-side, a great Bower Forest Troll. The hobbe thought that in his whole journey through Albion to find this creature, he had not seen something so incredible. He didn't even register the great creature get up, let out a great bellow, walk over, and smash him with a great chunk of rock.
His last thought before the boulder made contact was, "Wow, what a great adventure!" And then the boulder hit and Bill the hobbe was smashed to a pulp.
The End
