Aftershock pt3
The Titans had just left Terra's grave, and BB, who couldn't hold his raw emotions in for much longer, ran to the slight comfort that the solitude of his cold, pigsty of a room could offer. A couple days passed, Beast Boy yet to make a reappearance, and three of the four remaining Titans had decided to try their hand at cheering him up, but even after a large variety of therapy-based approaches, from Star's delicate reassurance, to Robin's tough love, and even Cy offering to make him tofu if he were to come out(making all the fellow Titans go to the ER for broken jaws due to the blunt force enforced by dramatically hitting the floor), and nothing. Raven, on the other hand, felt that he would do better be left alone to sort things out on his own, and, reluctantly, the Titans, whose continuous, tenacious attempts appeared to only worsen the predicament, finally obligated to her suggestion.
It had been a week after the Titans had visited Terra's grave, and everyone's favorites shape-shifter had not yet emerged from his room. Starfire, Robin, and Cyborg all felt he would come around, knowing any attempts to quicken the process would rather delay his recovery, but the resident empath was beginning to doubt her previous advice.
You see, her empathic senses at times of crisis can be- come overly sensitive, reaching out even when not commanded. Raven originally did not plan on fondling with his emotions, therefore invading his privacy, but apparently, his emotional state was in such crisis, her powers, involuntarily on her part, reached out to him, and the results were not comforting. He had clearly been distressed, depressed, sullen, as one could predict, but a few emotions were unsettling to the sorcerous. He felt alone and guiltily, ashamed of himself for not saving her in time, like it was his fault. His emotional health was rock bottom, depression consuming him whole from within.
'Why does he fell this is his fault?' she thought to herself, distressed for her, that's right, maybe-more-then-a-friend's mentality. 'And why does he feel alone, the others have offered their company…only the others… That is of no matter now, all that is of concern is that he doesn't go to extremes…' She knew what she had to do. She had to attempt changing the distraught boy's mind. For his sake and hers.
A/N: Yes! Multiple chapters! Wooho! I probably COULD have made this a one shot, but I want to post something today and I am LAZY! So… bear with me. This will probably be 3 chapters, emotionally, kinda cheesy, will their be a ship? And is Raven crushing?… BWAHAHA! Stay tuned to find out!
