For Yuuya, Edo Phoenix was … stubborn …. Yeah, maybe it's a right word to describe Edo's personality ….
Yuuya wasn't observant as long as Yuuya himself knew. But, a second Yuuya saw the torn Smile World card, Yuuya just knew something was wrong. Smile World, it must be his dad's. Yeah, It's definitely his dad's and … Edo must be the one who brought it there—because the a second Yuuya mentioned the card, Edo reacted and took the torn card from the ground near him.
Yuuya asked why Edo had his dad's—Sakaki Yuushou's—card and Edo looked like he didn't want to tell Yuuya at first. There must be a reason looked a little nervous and try to changed the topic when Yuuya asked about the card.
Then, Yuuya realized.
Funny, Yuuya wondered, why did he notice and Yuuto didn't? As long as Yuuya remember, he's more naive than Yuuto. Oh, right, Yuuto's hate for Academia was too overhelming to even notice what Edo's thinking.
Yeah, Yuuya realized … Edo just didn't want to recall his duel with Yuushou.
Edo seemed really hate Sakaki Yuushou as long as Yuuya saw The Commander-in-Chief before. But, when Yuuya listened Edo's story and knew about the torn Smile World, Yuuya knew … Edo actually didn't hate his father ….
Edo Phoenix said that he didn't want to accept Sakaki Yuushou's—and Yuuya's—way of dueling. But, Yuuya noticed. What Edo didn't want to accept was himself. Yeah, himself, the he who actually believed fron the bottom of his heart that duel could be fun …, that Academia maybe wrong all this time!
Yuuya decided. He would make Edo admitted that duel is fun—that Sakaki Yuushou wasn't wrong—no matter what!
Maybe Yuuya looked stupid. Edo is Academia's Commander-in-Chief. It must be hard to break Edo's loyalty for Academia. Even Yuuto didn't understand Yuuya's desicion. But, Yuuya didn't mind. Edo need someone to tell him about his own heart.
In Yuuya's eyes, Edo looked like a suffering little kid who couldn't follow the path he want. He's confused, didn't know what to do.
If no one leaded Edo to choose his own path, Yuuya would do it. Yuuya would …. He just … couldn't leave Edo alone like that ….
.
At first, Yuuya thought Edo's just a stubborn man who blinded by Academia's teachings. But, then, Yuuya realized. Edo's more that that. He's more stubborn than what Yuuya thought. He's too stubborn to keep what he believed—Academia's teachings he learned, the only view he knew before—all this time until the point he didn't even know how to recognize what he really want to do—to believe—when the time to choose—the time he could choose—came.
Yuuya wondered, how could someone be this stubborn? Nah, but it's okay. Yuuya knew, his father's—Sakaki Yuushou's—view have already infiltrated Edo's heart. What Yuuya have after that was …
… infiltrate more into Edo's heart and make Edo accept what Edo himself really believed.

A/N:
If you wondered, let me tell you. This is supposed to be a YuuEdo . Yeah, Yuuya X Edo. I'm into YuuEdo—not EdoYuu—after episode 111. Yuuya looked like flirting with Edo in 111 …. Ah, but I still shipped YuushouEdo more though …. Youko, forgive me …!
