The arrangement they come to is not perfect but they rationalize saying it must be enough. That is what they have both learned to live with : enough. They meet secluded paces about the school between classes and after glee. They throw themselves at each-other in bedrooms when family members are out. They do not "date", they do not "talk about it", that's part of the deal. They wonder about asking for more but know that it will never be "right" not really. They don't admit it aloud, not to themselves and certainly not to eachother but Quinn will always wear her old cheerios uniform and they both keep the lights low. And every once and a while Santana will gasp "Oh Britt" and Quinn will go on unhearing, unflinching, she knows this is not love. But she pretends and hopes Santana doesn't hear when she lies beside her tired yet sated murmuring Rachel's name.
