Glasses

"Love is like a butterfly, the more you chase it, the more it will elude you. But if you turn your attention towards other things it will come and softly sit on your shoulder."

Emil blinked at the summon spirit that was practically his twin. A small smile grazed his face, seemingly infecting Ratatosk, who did the same.

"Hi, Ratatosk."

"Yea, whatever, Emil."

A frowned flashed onto Emil's face, as the blonde hopped up off the non-existent floor.

A sigh escaped Ratatosk, who half turned to face the green-eyed boy, "What is it now, Emil?"

Emil blinked. "O-oh… Nothing… I was just bored so… I-I just wanted to talk…"

Ratatosk would look sexy with glasses. His mind suddenly uttered absently. He blinked, disturbed at first, then attempting to fight off the bright red blush burning its way up his way. He failed, and the tint sat itself upon his cheeks.

Ratatosk blinked, "About what?"

"O-oh… N-nothing in p-particular…"

Except for maybe the fact that you should really come over here and- Emil felt like he was going to explode. Never had his mind talked to him with such strange, disturbing, perverted thoughts. First glasses and then… No, no! Don't even think about it!

"-ey! Emil! Wake up!"

Emil shot awake from his daze, only to see Ratatosk's brilliant red hues.

"Finally!" Ratatosk growled lowly, "I've been trying to wake you up forever…"

Emil blushed, adding to his already red face, "S-Sorry…"

…

"R-Ratatosk?"

"What?"

Emil paused, wondering how to word his current thought, "Have you ever… ummm… W-worn g-glasses?"

"Yea, why?"

Emil blinked, "Oh no reason! Y-You just seem like- like a- like a glasses person!"

Ratatosk twitched, "Okay…" He paused for but a moment before continuing, "I had bad eyesight when I was younger, so I didn't have a choice."

Emil giggled, "Not at all, Ratatosk. I think you'd look nice with glasses."

Ratatosk blinked, "Don't flatter yourself."

"S-Sorry…"

"Whatever…" Ratatosk paused, before beginning a new sentence, "H-Hey… Emil…"

The previously sulking blonde blinked, more or less out of fear and stepped forward, towards the now completely turned-around summon spirit, "Y-Yes…?"

"Would you… Like me to wear glasses from now on?"

"I want you to embrace me."

"You idiot. If that's all you wanted, I'd be happy to do it for you anytime."

And, like I said, if you haven't checked out Loveless before(And not to mention you have to like Shota Yaoi or Shota Shounen-Ai), I highly suggest reading it. The anime is short, so it's not as good and it leaves out a ton of stuff, so the manga exceeds it in every aspect.
