" Sonic please unlock the door. Nothing is going to get you." Sonic's mother, Aleena, pleaded. Sonic has currently locked herself in her room like she does every night. Like she wanted to hide something from everybody she knew.

" She locked herself in her room again?"

"She did Sonia. Go get your brother Manic, maybe he can unlock the door."

" I been looking for him but I haven't had any luck finding him at all."

" He always seems to disappear when we need him to unlock the door."

They turned their attention back at Sonic's door hoping that she would come out soon. But she probably won't.

"Sonic I hope you come out soon. I don't like how you keep locking yourself in like this."

With that both Sonia and her mother left. Inside Sonic was currently hiding under some blankets and sitting at a corner, she didn't want to see anyone because of her current state. She looked out from the sheets to see the full moon out shining brightly.

" I hate this. But it's the only thing I have to remember Chip by."

She looked at her paw. She had gotten used of her werehog form but she didn't want her family to see her beast form. The only people who knew about her situation was Amy and Tails and they promised to keep it a secrete until she said it was okay to say something.

" Is that the reason why you stay home all night? Not even showing it to your own family?" A voice said.

She looked up only to see a black and red hedgehog leaning on a wall. Shadow.

" Why are you here? I don't fell like talking to any one right now." She growled reveling her fangs in the process.

" Two reasons. One: I noticed that you stopped running at night a knew that was highly unusual since running is who you basically are."

" Unusual. I never thought that you would be worried about me at all. I would expect you to care less about me."

"Well I was curious. And when I come here I find you like this."

" That's why I wanted to hide it. Promise me you won't tell anyone about me being like this."

" Why? I don't think it looks all that bad."

" Easy for you to say. Your not the one who changes to a monster every night."

" Oh really? Didn't people call me a monster since I worked for Eggman and did everything without hesitation?"

" Fine you got me on that one. And what was you second reason for you to come here?

As soon as she said that Shadow face turned a little pink. Sonic caught him off guard and was now a little nervous. This just left Sonic confused, she wasn't expecting him to react like that at all. She wasn't sure what to think or maybe it was that fact that she was starting to get sleepy that she couldn't think straight anymore. Shadow started to walk up to Sonic and whispered in her ear.

" Two thing I want to tell you. Don't be afraid to show who you are and... I love you"

That completely caught Sonic off guard, before she could react Shadow kissed her lightly on the lips and teleported off leaving Sonic completely shocked and her face was completely red. Until she got her thoughts together she smiled.

" I love you too and thank you I won't hide any more"
