Me: While waiting for reviews, I had a sudden urge to write a oneshot. So enjoy.
And yes, of course it's Amuto :o This does include Tadase liking men. I don't care about people who like the same gender in real life, but this is just … yeah…
Amu: Oh joy…
Me: ENjoy xD I'm so good. :D
Amu. ran to the park. Tadase wanted to meet me there. She was a tiny bit excited. This is the first time he's made a move, and sometimes she thinks he's too late. But who can resist that messy, blonde hair that just sways into his face, those magenta eyes that just seem to whisper, "I'm friendly,"? She sighed. They also say "Heartbreaker".
She knew Tadase would never love her. Only if she wore a happy-go-lucky attitude and wore frilly pink stuff with hearts all over. That's exactly not what she was wearing – a black blouse who's sleeves drooped down at her elbows, with one little cross at the bottom. A white ruffled skirt with black leggings… and black flats. Her hairdo had to small piggy-tails with small black clips, and her egg pouch was fastened to a black and steel belt.
Oh, how she hated that he couldn't just accept her. Then she thought of Ikuto.
He was the one to make the moves.
He was the one to save her, even though Tadase always interrupted them.
He was the one to comfort her even if Kiddy-King was the cause.
And he has already won her heart.
Still, she ran. Why did she run just to meet this King of Heartbreaks? She shook her head, then, focusing on her route, she quickly arrived at her destination.
There he was, sitting politely on the bench.
"Hello, Tadase-kun." She smiled her twinkling smile that she used with Amulet Heart. He had a glint of excitement in his eyes, but it seemed like he forced it to disappear.
"Hinamori…san…" his voice quivered. "I… I like someone else!"
I eyed him. "…And who is she?"
"…Actually…"
"It's not a she, is it?"
"…Not really…"
"I KNEW IT! I knew you'd choose this path. You're such a little pink frilly man lover!!"
"Hinamori-san, I still want to be frie—" she cut him off.
"FRIENDS? After slamming me down to take up a boy?!"
"I'm sorry, though! I didn't mean it ,it just happened!"
"Don't try to explain yourself," Amu's voice shook. "Don't regret yourself," and she ran. Himself. That's all he thought about. His world domination. His ability to break a girl's heart and go for someone who was a boy.
"…Amu?"
That voice.
That voice that made her shake with excitement.
She sped around and met intense, ocean eyes. She seemed to be swimming in them, drowning, almost. (A/N I'm so lyrical in this story o.0)
"Amu, what's wrong?" the voice came again.
Oh no. Was she crying? Honestly, Amu, she thought.
He placed his finger on her cheek and wiped a single tear away.
He sniffed it.
"Kiddy king," he sneered.
"A-are you a tear pervert, too?"
He nodded and smirked.
"Weirdo." Suddenly all her sorrow was gone, all her anxiety.
"I'm here for you, Amu,"
Those five words made her eyes light up, her cheeks gain some color.
"I love you." He said, and his lips met hers.
"Me too," she said, smiled.
He will always be there to make the moves.
He would always save her.
And he would always be the one to comfort her.
He gave her a box.
"A present. Forget the past, await the future," he said, and grinned.
Inside was a diamond cross ring. Her eyes glimmered.
"Yes," she said.
Me: How sweet.
Ikuto: I ONLY CAME IN THE END?!
Me: -smirk-
Amu:
Interesting story… Am I old enough to get married, though?
Me:
That wasn't a marriage ring.
Amu: Then why did I say YES?
Me: I dunno o.0
Review if you feel like it XD
