Hi guys! Don't know if any of my readers are ParaNorman fans, much less Norgatha fans, but here's a little something to tide you over. Plus, this pairing deserves a bigger fandom. C:

Norman didn't know why he wanted to make the trek out to the woods today, but he did. The cool summer breeze welcomed his face as he left the edge of the cemetery and walked through the forest. Along the way, he hummed the song "Forever" by Rascal Flatts.

"Oh, who am I kidding?" Norman wondered out loud. "I miss her, a lot." He raised his head into the golden rays of the setting sun. It had been almost a year since the witches' curse had been lifted and the deceased finally moved on to the afterlife. He knew very well that Agatha belonged up there, but, in the short time he spent with her, he felt… a connection. They weren't as different as they had realized.

She often appeared to him in his dreams, saying: "I'm still here, Norman. Don't forget about me."

He hopped over a fallen tree and pushed through a bush to reveal a clearing, and there it stood.

Aggie's Tree.

Silence settled over everything, even his mind. A small green leaf fell from the proud trees, settling to the ground with an embarrassed scuffle for disturbing the quiet. Everything stopped all at once. The silence was so quiet that it was screaming in Norman's ears. It seemed to be talking to him. Not in a way you could hear, but in a way you could feel.

This. It whispered to his heart and soul. This is the sound of life.

All of a sudden the gears started turning again. Little by little the silence woke up and wandered away. The wind sailed through the branches. A squirrel tittered up in a tree. A bug flew by his ear.

The power and emotion of the forest was enough to move him. He fell to his knees at Agatha's Tree and sobbed his heart out. When he had finished his mourning, the silence had returned, cradling him with a soft caress.

But as soon as it had come it was gone. The woods awoke again, but this time, it felt… different. The wind rushed through the spindly branches with power, and leaves began to flutter through the air. They soared in a line in patterns, circling around Norman, closing in on him. He took a step back, startled by the wind's force. The leaves twisted around in the sky, until they flew right towards the Tree and came together.

Then everything stopped.

The leaves fell to the ground in a snap, revealing a girl. Norman's breath caught in his throat. No… it couldn't be…

"Aggie." He said, barely a whisper.

She stood before Norman in a green ghostly form. "Yes, Norman. I came back." She said with a smile.

He regained his composure. "But… but why? I mean, I'm so glad to see you, but-"

"Why have I come back? Good question. Everything was fine and beautiful up there, but, something felt missing, there was just…" She looked down at her feet, hovering above the ground. "I realized I never had the chance to fall in love with someone."

Norman felt the blood go to his ears. He grinned. "Well, I'm really happy you're back. I missed you." He reached out and hugged the specter. She was taken a little aback first, but soon returned the embrace.

"It's great to be back." She whispered.

Hope you liked it! Sorry I won't be posting for a while... :(
