Tara Stiviletto woke up to the sound of someone pounding on her front door.

"Ugh," she groaned as she rolled out of bed, quickly glancing in the mirror before silently opening her door. She snuck a peek in the room across from hers and chuckled when she saw Baby Boy's body half off his bed. When the pounding started up again, she strode down the hallway, taking her sweet old time as her feet padded silently against the wooden staircase. She twisted the knob on the rickety front door of her old farmhouse and stepped back as Tommy Conroy barged in through the door.

"Where is he," T.C. demanded as he glared menacingly at the seventeen year old. Oh crap, she thought. Tara swiveled around on her heel and walked into the kitchen with the sheriff close on her tail. She flicked the lights on and leaned against the counter, her dark auburn curls cascading over her shoulder, while glancing flirtatiously up at Tommy. She cocked her head to the right and a clueless look spread across her face.

"I have no idea what you're talking about," she told him with a hint of sarcasm.

"Don't make me ask again Tara. I know you know something and I'm not leaving here until I get some answers."

"Look T.C.," the flirtatious look that was previously in her hazel eyes had been replaced with an chilling stare,

"All I know is exactly what you know. Greggy escaped from jail and I have no idea where he is. Okay? The people you really should be questioning are your prison guards who were dumb enough to let him escape in the first place. So do me a favor and get out of my house so I can sleep."

Tommy glanced around the kitchen before dragging his eyes back to Tara who was now pouring herself a glass of water. He kept his eyes on her as she lifted the glass up to her pouty lips and took a long sip. He knew better than to trust her, she was known for her games, but when she set the glass down and looked at him with her signature smirk, he couldn't help but think she was telling the truth.

"Alright," he sighed as he headed back towards the door, "But if I find out that you've been lying to me, you are going to be in serious trouble."

"No worries T.C." She watched him slide into the front seat of his police car and slowly back out of the dirt driveway. As soon as he was out of sight, she rolled her eyes and slammed the door.

"He's gone," she yelled as she turned to face the staircase. Greggy slid out from his perfect hiding spot underneath the stairs and smiled triumphantly.

"Thanks Tare."

Tara placed a dainty, manicured hand on the railing and smirked at her handsome older brother,

"That's what I'm here for."
