Why Me Of All People?
The Forest is dark and the atmosphere is frightening but can she get through the 'small' forest.
Her long shaggy hair flew behind her as she ran further into the dark forest. On the bark of numerous oak trees there were strange patterns. She picked up speed as her legs moved faster and faster to the whistling wind that continuously slapped again her face.
A loud banging noise suddenly surrounded the atmosphere and a burning aroma flew up her nose. Falling forward, her face hit the hard chalky ground after tripping over the large tree log.
She, surprisingly, hadn't seen the large chunk of wood that was spread infornt of her feet. As a consequence she fell to the leafy ground covered in wet soil. From behind she smelt smoke and looked in that direction, still lying on the ground.
Still unstable, she slowly lifted her body off the ground and up onto her feet. Standing still, she looked hopelessly around, taking in her surrounding.
POV
The trees stood stall as the leaves rustled loudly as I ran by. Thoughts rushed helplessly through my mind making my legs go faster. My head started to hurt and my heels hurt even more.
The trees looked as though they were growing over me and a bright light shrouded my view of the forest before me. Wind swept passed me and lifted by hair up towards the sky.
I couldn't wait to get out of here, the forest. It was getting on my nerves and making my body hurts. My body ached so much I could just collapse on the floor and never get back up.
The forest was huge and it felt as though 'I was running in circles' as I've heard some people say. Although, the forest was said to be small it was gigantic, which made me think of what a big forest would be like.

Hours had gone by and still the young woman was racing through the everlasting forest, desperately wanting to seek the ending of it all. But she of all people knew that it would be very soon.
