A gasp, had escaped, but why? She felt strangely lighter, like her balance had just lost its hold… As she looked down, she then widened her eyes in absolute terror, her stomach had been impaled by… a tentacle? Turning her small dilated eyes around, she then began to agape her mouth to see the one she adored, smiling sadistically… His eyes seemed to hide under his hat as he did so… She tried to speak but he pulled out the tentacle, forcing her to collide upon the cold, hard ground…
For a moment, life was silent, she felt the world collapse around her as she began shallow breaths into very slow leveled ones, she could hear her heart beating in her head go slower and slower, how could this happen to her…? How could everything she had worked so hard for, just leave her hands so easily? Wincing in surprise as she heard him chuckle behind her, he then began to speak to her…
"I'm sorry my dear, but you should have known better then to have trusted me… Now that you and I have married, I can finally take away all the money you invested me." He began laughing uncontrollably with an arch as if this was hilarious to him… But only one word could escape her lips as she looked at him desperately, her voice couldn't say the word, but she could mouth it… "Why…"
A narrow of his golden orbs just looked to her as he walked up, his hands behind him as he did so. "Because you're a fool…" He whispered, grabbing a hold of her hair to force her up. She gasped at the pull; she couldn't feel the pain due to her heart slowing faster by the second, the pool of blood only making it worse for her. He only could chuckle to her, despite the cold touches.
"I never loved you, I just needed you for your wealth, and after all, how else will I get another castle…" He purred darkly, his eyes becoming red with greed. As he said these dark words, his finger began tracing her lips seductively. "Although I must admit, I did enjoy it while it lasted… My pet…" Bowing down to her, he then placed a cold kiss upon her lips before then slamming her down into the ground. He then laughed as he walked off, just letting her writhe in her last moments of breath.
Even though he had destroyed her, had taken the ones she loved, her money, her family, and her home; everything away from her… She then made her lips agape once more and breathed the words she still promised him. She felt crazy for saying this; even stupid and arrogant but it was the truth…
"I…Love…You…" She then died, a tear dropping down one of her eyes as she closed them peacefully. And she meant it, every last word…
