Flowers

Disclaimer: I do not own Hetalia, or its characters

A/N: I wanted to try and write fluff. I don't think I'm much good at it. D: Every time I attempt to write fluff, I just think about a chibi! Version of me falling into a big fluffy pillow and getting smothered. Yeah. So, I usually write angst because it's more…interesting. But Fluff can be too, I guess. Me being not used to writing fluff is one of the reason why this is so short.

Enjoy.

Romano stared out the window thoughtfully. Clouds were gathered in the low distance, the sun shining the sky in orange and pink hues. The nation shifted, making his position more comfortable. Usually, he would be asleep right now. But something was on the fringe of his mind.

Usually, relationships that involved love usually included handholding, watching movies until late. Millions of things, small things that made relationships perfect; like inside jokes, and secret kisses in public. Yet, Spain's and Romano's relationship included none of that.

Maybe something was wrong with their relationship? Romano's body tensed slightly, a painful ache throbbing dully in his heart. He hoped not. Even if they did have something wrong with their relationship, it could be easily fixed…right? Of course…worry still seemed to seep into Romano's mind, and coursed through his body.

What if their love wasn't meant to be? As silly as that sounded, what if it could be true? Romano tried to delve deeper into it, but instantly wretched his mind from the idea. It hurt to think about that, it hurt even more that Romano knew he doubted his and Spain's relationship.

Romano began to think about how foolish and hurt he was starting to sound. Like some teenage girl. In the middle of his self-loathing, Romano heard knocking on the door. A frown flittered upon Romano's face. Who would visit this early into the evening?

As soon as Romano opened the door, he was met with a bunch of flowers. "Eh, Roma~" Spain grinned sheepishly. "I decided to get you something on the way home from my meeting." Romano took the flowers, staring down at them.

Spain actually took the time to get him flowers? Not the fake crap either. Real…flowers, the ones the emitted a sickly sweet scent. Romano opened his mouth, and then closed it, a flush coming to his cheeks. And to think he had doubted their relationship…"…"

"Roma? Como estas?" Spain blinked; a small gleam of worry in his green eyes. "Something wrong, mi amor?" Romano dropped the flowers, and hugged Spain.

Romano shyly pressed his lips to Spain's, a smile lingering on Spain's lips as Spain's arms instantly wrapped his arms around the smaller nation. At last, Romano pulled away. "Idiot, why the hell did you knock? This is your house." Spain laughed, as he sheepishly admitted to wanting to surprise Romano.

Nothing is wrong. Everything is perfect.
