41) Under Water ~Demyx~
Oh, this feeling!
The feeling of water rushing through your hair, the power propelling you through the vast blue, the soft, cheerful music flowing through your ears.
The sheer bliss.
With a smile on his face, Demyx kicked his tail fin – er, tentacles -, causing himself to glide through the water, bubbles jetting & bursting behind him.
25) Chains ~Pandora Hearts~
We all sat around Break's round table, having a tea party, you might say. Gilbert sat as far away from Break & Emily as he possibly could (I don't know why, but I do remember loud noises coming from Gil's room last night), Alice devoured the turkey leg in front of her (I haven't the slightest idea where it came from), & I happily enjoyed the cake in front of me. Mmmmm, red velvet.
Nobody was talking. Isn't that what you did at these things – socialize? The silence got ot me after a while, so I put down my fork & turned my attention to Alice.
"Alice, can you explain the whole chain-thing again?"
Everyone stared at me, then at her.
Her mouth full of meat, she slammed the bone onto the table, breaking it. Break giggled, "Ooo! This should be good~!"
Gil glared at Break, the latter returning it with a crazed smirk, causing Gil to look away, his face red, sweating a little. What had happened last night?
I was interrupted from my thoughts.
"What do you mean, you fool? Did you not hear me last time?" Alice asked, standing over me.
I looked up at her & swallowed. " No no no, I heard you."
"Then why do I need to repeat myself?" an eyebrow raised on her face.
"Uhm… because I've slept since then…?"
Wrong answer.
Next thing I knew, I was on the ground, in pain, Break above me, laughing. A lot.
"Oh, what a fun tea party~! Don't you agree, Emily~?"
72) House on the hill ~HouseXWilson~
It was a breezy Friday evening, the sun ready to set. Two sets of legs & a cane peaked the mountain-of-a-hill, the chilled air nipping at the bare skin of their faces & hands.
Gregory House sat, exhausted, on the bench that rested at the top of this hill, twirling his cane slowly. James Wilson joined him at his side, staring off at the setting sun.
They both sat, catching their breath from the climb, watching the darkening sky, at peace.
The street light next to them lit, the stars glistening in the black sky. There they both sat, just watching.
"Greg… how do you feel about destiny?" James asked, out of the blue. Greg looked over at him, a puzzled look on his face. "Random much?"
Sigh. "Just answer the question."
Gregory's gaze returned to the sky, staring at the moon. "Depends. Stuff happens… I really don't think there's a reason for it, unless there's facts & actions behind it," he replied lazily, "…what about you?"
It was now James's turn to gaze at the other. He searched for some sign of sarcasm, but there was none. House was being honest… caring, almost. Reassured, his chocolate eyes returned to the stars.
"Well, there's people who believe in destiny, & there's ones that believe we just float around, like on a breeze… I believe it's a little of both…" he replied, rubbing his hands together for warmth, a blush on his cheeks.
Another long pause of just staring.
"…you got that from another movie, didn't you?"
Shocked, James jumped up off the bench, his face red. He stared at the older man in surprise, the latter's bright blue eyes lazily pointed at the sky. "H-How did you--?!"
"It's not like I haven't seen Forrest Gump…" the simple reply lingered in the air as the source of it twirled his cane.
A/N Soooo, yeah, these are COMPLETELY out of order, & I'm going to post them when I can & as I finish, so.... you wanna complain, go ahead, just not to me...please? ;A; Anyway, I hope you like the first oneshot-things for my 100 theme challenge!
