The Jealous Chain Part 2
Rukia sat beside Renji by the river alone. She did not suspect any odd feelings he might have had for her, but inside Renji's head (yes under all that hair there is a brain), he was madly in love with her and insanely jealous of her and Ichigo's new-found relationship. Renji would fight Ichigo to the death, but would say nothing until he had trained enough...
Now Renji trained for months and months to fight Ichigo with matching power. The only thing he hoped was that Ichigo did not unleash the hollow powers he held within. Renji ran now, toward the spot his senses told him Ichigo resided. When he reached Ichigo he did not hesitate to swing his Zanpakuto with such swiftness Ichigo should not have sensed it, but he did being the amazing Shinigami that he was, and knocked Renji to the floor.
"What the hell are you doing Renji?" Ichigo spouted these words, shocked.
Renji said nothing, he simply got up and swung again, this time catching Ichigo in the shoulder. He did not know how he did so, and Ichigo looked surprised himself, but nevertheless he had drawn blood.
"I'll fight you to the death, Kurosaki Ichigo!" Renji swung again, but this time all he was, was cocky.
Ichigo, with such great speed Renji didn't see, found himself behind Renji; Zangetsu at his chest. Renji's face was still angry, and he panted like a tired dog teeth bared and all.
"Renji what the hell is your problem?" Ichigo didn't let down Zangetsu but he tried to talk to Renji as the friend he thought he was.
"You stole her! You stole Rukia and now I'm going to kill you!" Renji, somehow with the same speed as Ichigo, disappeared and reappeared behind the orange haired shinigami, who was so shocked he ended up on the ground bleeding from two shoulder wounds.
Ichigo stood hunched from the pain his shoulders had given him, "Stole Rukia?"
"Why the hell is she in love with you, I love her!" Renji, not using his Zanpakuto this time, swung his fist and hit Ichigo square in the eye...then the nose...then the stomach.
Ichigo fell to his knees holding his stomach and weezing at Renji, "I didn't know Rukia loved me we're just really good friends Renji!"
Ichigo was too good a friend to fight Renji, though he could have won, Renji didn't stop. He beat on Ichigo until the poor man was half dead, and then without a word, Renji disappeared...
