"Why didn't you stop him?"
"Sakura—"
"Why did you favor him over Naruto?"
"Sakura—"
"Don't you understand? He has nobody. Nobody to tell him what's wrong and what's right. You're his sensei!"
"Sakura—"
"This is your fault. You could have stopped him."
"Sakura—"
"Why did you help him become stronger? Why didn't you tell him to stop?"
"Sakura—"
"Why didn't you go after him? Why did you send Naruto? Naruto's just a boy!"
"Sakura—"
"Why couldn't you bring him back? You're supposed to be this super ninja. This is all your fault!"
"Sakura—"
"He's gone now! He's gone and he'll be killed!"
"Sakura—"
"Naruto is gone, too. You're never around any more. I'm left all alone! Why did you let this happen? We're suppose to be a team."
Kakashi watches as Sakura falls to her knees, crying for the first time in a long time. He watches her shed tears in front of him. He kneels before her, pressing her to him, letting her release her frustrations. She cries into his vest, clutching at him as if she were capable of being blown away.
He lets her cry and he lets her blame him, because there is nothing else he can do for her.
