made my first poem! i'm no good at this so I'm sorry in advanced. hope you enjoy though :)
She was a girl of seventeen
So beautiful, so calm, so serene.
She was named after a flower,
Intelligence was her superpower.
Red locks and blue eyes,
Be in for a heavy surprise!
She knows how to make you smile,
Her company is definitely worthwhile.
But one day she met a boy,
His purpose was to make her constantly annoyed.
He was the definition of perfection,
His attitude was the only exception.
He was a boy also of seventeen
With blonde hair, grey eyes and a heart like a machine.
He was named after a constellation,
His intelligence also wins him more admiration.
He annoys her to no end,
Unexpectedly, he became her friend.
What started as a rivalry,
Ended up as a relationship that was merry.
It was he who her heart calls,
Someone catch her before she completely falls!
It was the little things that make her heart go
She can't believe she's falling for a former foe.
"Break up with him," her friends say,
"You're a toy for him to play!
Don't fall for his dirty tricks,
Believe us, he's one of those pricks!"
She didn't believe them of course,
Where's the information source?
She believed him when he said,
"My love for you will never end."
But unfortunately things went wrong,
Someone please sing her a sad song!
She was obviously shaking with fume,
For she saw him kissing a girl in front of the common room!
She called him up for a confrontation,
She demanded him for an explanation.
He told her he didn't want her anymore,
She wasn't exactly the girl he was looking for.
She realized she went through a lot of mistakes,
Now look, oh how her heart aches!
She should've known it was too good to be true,
Now she's left feeling all blues!
She was just a girl of seventeen,
Who wishes she had a time machine
So that she can go back and try to forget
The things she once did and now regret.
Now she learned the moral of the story,
But she can't help feeling sorry.
Her heart got broken by this fling,
You know what they say, time heals almost everything.
end~
