'How dare she! How dare she go with that bastard of a brother of mine!' Sasuke thought angrily. He stopped his raging steps and saw he was at the old Team 7 Bridge. 'But… it was me that drove her to do all the things she did. Her going to Tsunade. Her surpassing Tsunade. Her then joining Akatsuki. But when did she get an invitation from the Akatsuki?' Sasuke now stood on the old, red bridge. "Sakura…"

"Teme! Tsunade-sama needs us right now! I couldn't find Sakura-chan, though. Have you seen her, by the way?" Naruto bombed Sasuke.

Looking down shamefully, Sasuke stayed quiet.

"Oi teme! Where's Sakura-chan?"

"I don't know," came Sasuke's dull reply.

"Eh? What do you mean you don't know? She's your girlfriend after all."

'He just had to mention that bit, didn't he? As if I don't need anyone else to tell me that I messed up my relationship with her.' Sasuke scowled. "She's with…" choking out the last bit, he managed to say the words he dreaded to hear from his mouth, " She's with the Akatsuki."

"Nani?! Hahaha! Nice one. But seriously. Where is she?" Naruto's innocent eyes questioned Sasuke's turmoil-filled ones. Sasuke looked away from the burning gaze. "Hey, teme, you're not serious are you?" Sakura wouldn't betray us like that! Teme? … Sasuke?"

"She's with Itachi Naruto. I cheated behind her back with Ino and Sakura found out. Now she's with Itachi and the Akatsuki."

Naruto froze up. "No…" he whispered brokenly.

"Naruto-" Sasuke started weakly.

"How COULD you?!" Naruto growled. Sasuke flinched, staring at Naruto with wide eyes. 'Why? Why would you do such a thing to her? How could you do that to Sakura after all the things you've put her through?"

I… I-I don't know Naruto. It just…" Sasuke looked down at the ground, er, bridge flooring.

"Just what Sasuke? Just happened and kept happening? Just got out of hand? Just-"

"DAMN IT! I DON'T KNOW! IT JUST HAPPENED TOO FAST FOR ME TO KEEP UP WITH IT! It started off me getting drunk, then having a one-night stand with Ino and then… I lost. I lost Naruto! My crazed vengeance mind made me not see the big picture. And… And Itachi won out in the end. He won. He… won…" Sasuke chanted.

Staring at his friend, Naruto glared past Sasuke's head into the sea of trees. "Sometimes I truly do wonder what goes on through that crazed vengeance mind of yours." Pausing, he saw that Sasuke went quiet and still. Looking up at the sky, Naruto asked, "So, what do we do? Do we let her go and respect her decision? Or do we go after her and hurt her even more?"

Sasuke just sat there. Contemplating on what he should do. "We let her go," came his soft reply.

Flickering his blue gaze down at his friend, Naruto grinned. "Hey, I wonder what Sakura-chan is doing now, don't you?"

At Akatsuki Headquarters

"ACHOO!" Sniffle

"Ne, you okay Saku-chan, yeah?"

"I'm fine Deidara. Someone's talking about me."

"Are you sure, yeah? Maybe you should see the doctor, yeah." WHACK

"I am the doctor you idiot."
