"I challenge you to a staring contest"
I looked up at Sonic, who was sitting across from me. "A staring contest? Isnt that a bit childish?"
"Please, Ames? It'll be fun." Sonic's child like ways are always adorable to me.
"Fine." We both closed our eyes.
Sonic started the countdown. "3,2,1...GO!"
We opened our eyes, staring point blank at each other, not moving at all. By the look on Sonic's face he looked determined on winning.
"Well, this is fun" I thought sarcastically.
After around 10 seconds I started to actually look and observe his facial features.
His eyes are one of my favourite things about him, they are just so...beautiful and expressive that it gives me butterflies in my stomach every time I see them.
His cute smile that always brightened up my day, even in the darkest times whenever directed towards me.
His soft looking lips that I wanted to feel... and taste...
"Amy?"
I came back to reality and saw Sonic staring at me, obviously confused. "You okay? You won by the way, 15 seconds ago."
God, I felt the blood rush to my cheeks so I started a new staring contest with the floor, scared of facing Sonic.
"I'm fine Sonic, just feeling a bit hot that's all."
Biggest lie I have ever told.
