She stood in front of the mirror, running a hand over her short locks of hair. A sigh escaped her. It had been a few weeks since Daniel had been reincarnated and she had been heartless. Literally. She was spending less and less time with Henry, and not my Emma's behest. But by her own. She did not want Henry to see her this way, once she was strong enough to love him again, then she'd replace her heart. She needed to erase the hurt of Daniel until she was ready to deal with it. So, her heart lie in a sold gold box below her father's makeshift grave.

Her eyes were emotionless as she waved her hand over her messy bed head, immediately her locks moved with perfection and her hair was done for the day. She tilted her head and examined it with squinted eyes. She felt nothing. Empty. She was empty as she completed her new routine since she'd gotten magic. The emotionless Regina wasn't any interesting when she had no one to torture. She could go torture Hook, hell she could kill him if she wanted to. But she didn't. She kept herself from killing someone she could have conflict with. The evil queen in her smirked vivaciously at the thought of conflict. She thrived on the power. But Regina, weak, emotionless Regina, was trying to get her power back. Power is strength, and she knew if she put her heart back inside her chest and let it beat freely, she would never become strong again. As she walked out the door, she stopped and turned to face the huge mirror in her living area. A fire formed in her hand and she threw it at the mirror with an angry growl. The fire stuck to the mirror and it fell to the floor in a pile of ashes.

"I'm baaack." The evil queen in her spoke, the words tauntingly coming from her mouth
