"Kat! Come on!" Arianna whined to her younger sister.
"Ari, I'm only twenty and someone might notice I look a little younger than everyone else." I tried to defend myself.
"A little makeup and suddenly you're twenty-one!" She gave a soft, light laugh. "And the light at the club are dim; no one will know!
I looked up at my sister from under my eyelashes with a smile. "Fine."
With a squeal, my sister ran off to pick out my clothes for our night out.

A heavy hip-hop bass blasted from several speakers placed around the spacious room as a big group of sweaty bodies grinded and swayed together on the dancer floor. I instantly looked around for the bar. Age might stop from drinking, but it doesn't stop you from drinking.
I tugged on Arianna's sleeve to get her attention. "I'm going to the bar, but keep your phone on!" I shouted over the music.
At Arianna's nod and smile, I was on my way. I plopped down on the bar stool and waved over a bartender.
"Yeah?" He asked, running a hand through his sandy brown hair.
"Gin on the rocks." I said simply.
The bartender nodded once with a smile and went off to fetch her drink, but it wasn't long before he returned with a green colored drink in hand. He slid the drink across the counter and turned his head to the opposite side of the bar.
This is from the guy down there." Looking over, there was a guy with thick black glasses and a pimple on the side of his nose. He waved with a geeky smile. I couldn't help myself; I waved back with the same smile and tilted the drink to the air as a toast before taking a long sip.
I don't know where the guy went, but it seemed like he'd disappeared into thin air. I had turned to thank him for the drink, but he was gone already.
I only took about an hour for me to get bored. People had came and went, some of the guys asking her to dance, and others stopped to talk. With everyone dancing or drunk, I was sure I wouldn't be missed from the population.
After sending Arianna a quick text, I was out the door and headed home.

The icy wind blew through my loose auburn curls and nipped harshly at my ears. It was only two more blocks to her front door and I could see the brown wooden door to the apartment. I picked up my pace and arrived home, greeted with the scent of cinnamon and warm air. It was always peaceful in the residence when Arianna wasn't home to stomp around or play her music too loud. It was something I took the time to enjoy.
I walked straight to my room, not bothering to pull off my heels, and fall on my bed fully dressed. I reached for the remote and turned on the television, grinning largely when I saw the logo of my favorite show, Supernatural. My smile was almost to my ears when I realized it was coming on next. I practically drooled over the two main characters, Dean and Sam, and even though both guys were outstandingly handsome, she could never choose the better brother.
I rolled on my stomach and adjusted myself better, preparing to be amused by Dean's latest comments. As the credits rolled around, there was a bright light outside her window and before I could get up to investigate, I felt limp and I just wanted to sleep. Maybe I should take a nap… The light was probably nothing anyway.
The other chapters will come fast and they will all be much longer, so don't worry!
