''Another Round Beautiful'' eli shouted out to the bartender raising his empty glass

'' Oh no you don't , that's enough drinks eli '' i waved off the bartender '' and the only reason i'm going to ignore what you just called her is because i know you're wasted''

Eli bursted into laughter grabbing onto my shoulder '' lighten up clare , have s-some fun '' he said stumbling over his words

Eli took the shot from the bartender and threw his head back with it

'' NO ELI ! '' i shouted , grabbing his arm , trying to stop him from drinking it

Eli quickly pushes me away and i stumbled trying to catch my balance

We both looked at each other in disbelief of what just happened as eli threw back another drink to end the tension , i reached over to grab my clutch and i felt eli grab my waist

'' Where do you think you're going ?'' he mumbled in my ear

'' Away from you '' i said snatching my clutch off the bar

i started to storm away as i felt myself getting pulled back by eli very strongly

'' i dont think so'' he growled as i turned around and slapped him in the face , then made a quick exit afterwards

I rushed to the car and sat in the driver seat , i thought so many times about walking home but i could stand the thought of eli drunk driving all the way home and possibly getting into a car accident , i hated him at the moment but he was still the love of my life and i wasnt going to let him get hurt just because of me .

10 minutes later i saw him coming , stumbling out of the club laughing to himself , he made his way to the car and threw himself in

The whole drive home was dead silent , nothing but the reeking smell of the alcohol lingering eli's slouched over body

As soon as we arrived to my house i got out , slamming the door behind me leaving Eli too help himself out

He had been staying at my house while my parents been away on vacation , His parents were okay with it too of course

I went to pour two glasses of water for both me and eli to try to sober both of us

'' Here '' i said , giving the glass to eli who was about to pass out on the couch

'' ohhhhhhhhh , more liquor , yeah the party just begun huh clare ? '' eli said smirking at me

'' no , its water '' i snaped back

Eli sipped on the water , '' clare look i-i-im sorry for how i acted i-in the club , i didnt mean to grab you up like thaaa... ''

he said dozzing off on his words

'' yea yea , just drink up drunky'' i said , starting to head upstairs

'' YOU SEE , THAT'S YOU'RE PROBLEM , I TRIED TO APOLOGIZE BECAUSE I KNOW YOU WOULDN'T STOP BITCHING IF I DIDNT , YOU JUST WANT ME TO TREAT YOU BAD , YOU DON'T DESERVE ANYTHING NICE '' He said

By time i turned around , Eli had already been up to his feet with a hot red face of anger

'' Eli you need to calm down , how could you talk to me like that , how about you leave actually '' i said heading to go open the front door

Eli had come up from behind me and slammed the door down and pushed me to the ground as he began talking

'' Im not going anywhere , You dont like it when i play nice guy huh ? so maybe we should switch things up around here then''
