A note This was meant to be the last install meant of my poetry collection Under the Stars but I think that it's better off alone. I'm a Gryffindor as per Pottermore and it's Gryffindor pride today so here I am! I don't own much.
I'm not half clever
And I can't afford to work hard
And there is no ambition
In my beating heart
I may be a bit reckless
And I may be a bit harsh
I know, I know
It's stupid, it's dangerous
I could die
But nobody else did it
Nobody but me myself and I
I have the nerve
To do things you'll never do
And I don't give a damn
And I'll go forth
I need to get you out of the way
Don't care about tomorrow
We're staying alive for today
So fuck the consequences
What's been done before
Is all history
Dare to do the impossible
Because possibilities don't make me
I'm just a little brave
But that's what Gryffindor is to you
"You might belong in Gryffindor,
Where dwell the brave at heart,
Their daring, nerve and chivalry
Set Gryffindors apart"- The very tattered sorting hat, which considers these lines it's 'finest work yet'.
