"I'm sorry, but I'm leaving Zack, for I had enough of being locked in a closet," Gwan, Zack's brother, said. "Big brother, ya know it's for play, right?" Zack said. "I'm sorry, please tell mom and dad I'm not coming back, ever." "Dont go! i'll miss you!" "...Goodbye."
Sweat was everywhere on young 9 yr old Zackary Knight. His brother left him a year ago, and he missed him terribly.
"2 months and no sign of letting up? These nightmares are tearing me apart!" Zack screamed. "M-maybe a walk'll help."
Zack threw the covers off and went to get dress. He knew his mom and dad wouldn't really mind if anything happened to him, they barly know he excites now.
I miss you so much Gwan, mommy and daddy don't even care about me, the're worried about you. Zack thought as he finished putting his clothes on. He opened the door carefully, then closed it carefully.
"Stupid rain! Why must you be cruel tonight?"
"Who are you asking little boy?"
"Who?"
Zack turned around to see someone patting a bunny, or was it a cat?
"Tell me little boy, why are you out here? Alone? In the rain?"
"Who the beep are you?"
"Oh, such voilent language for a youngin. Tell me, Zackary, Why are you out here, alone?"
"Who cares? No one likes me. Not my brother, not my mommy or daddy, not even my was friends."
"So your saying your always alone?"
"Heck yeah! It's like beep *! I don't do anything wrong, but I'm still treated like I'm a beep *ing waist of beep *, if he hadn't run away, I'd won't be so lonly."
Tears build up in Zack's eyes.
"You're important Zackary, for I'd like you to join HD academy."
The stranger gave Zack a card with his name on it and where to go.
"If your intrusted, you should come."
"Dr. Ziggurat? Is that you mister?"
"Yes, it is Zackary."
Dr. Ziggurat got down on one knee and extended his hand out to Zack.
"Will you join? You'll never be alone again if you do."
Zack looked at Ziggurat's hand.
"I accept!" Zack said as he brought his hand to shake Ziggurat's waiting one.
A smirk played at Ziggurat's lips.
"Wonderful, Zackary." Dr. Ziggurat said.
"Just call me Zack Dr. Ziggurat."
