A/N: Thisis my first story, so please be nice, and if there is any grammar fault it's because I don't have the books in english, so I can't check it up.

Murtagh let out a fierce war cry as he slaughtered another urgal. He saw Ajihad crush the breastplate of an urgal and then pierce his heart. Where were the twins? We need them if we're going to win, he thought. I hope that Eragon and Saphira get here soon. He saw an urgal running towards Ajihad. "No"! Ajihad fell by a sword through his guts.Suddenly an urgal came from behind with a big club and pain exploded from the back of his head. Then everything went dark.

He awoke hours later. It was dark, but a small, blue lantern revealed several urgals running in a dwarven tunnel. One was carrying him on his shoulder. He also saw the twins riding on horses next to the urgals. They were looking back all the time as they thought they were being followed. Suddenly; a big, black obis appeared in the middle of the tunnel. One of the twins stopped and shouted "Now's the time!" All the urgals stopped and the other twin started walking towards Murtagh. He took forward a knife as he was getting close. I hope that he will kill me fast, Murtagh thought as the twin raised his knife. But at the last second he changed the angle and cut of Murtagh's tunic. He spoke some words in the ancient language over it and he felt like he suddenly lost some blood, as he watched the tunic, he saw that it was stained with blood, and then he realized: He just drew blood from me to put it on my tunic, but why? The twin cut open his own coat and did the same thing to that to, but this time, Murtagh guessed he drew blood from himself. He threw their coats on the ground and they started emerging through the tunnel again. Murtagh was still wondering what was going on when a thought hit him: They want to make any followers believe that we're dead, but why? "So good to get out of there, I've had enough of those blasted rebels", one of the twins said. Now Murtagh realised what was going on. "Traitors", he spat to the twins. "Be quiet", one said."The king will knock some sense into you when we get to UrĂ»'baen, I hope" the other one said. One of them said some words in the ancient language and sleep overtook him.

When he woke up he noticed a sudden change. He was no longer carried by an urgal in the dwarven tunnels. He was in a dungeon. Where am I? He wondered. Soon a man walked in. He didn't look very old, accept for his eyes. They betrayed experience from hundreds of years, but they did also betray pure evil. It was Galbatorix!
