It's lonely here, all I can do is watch. Watch the humans come and go. While I sit in the back never going to be bought.
It's been years that I have sat in the back of the shop. A little toy shop, I like it here but it's just so lonely.
I'm covered with dust and I have a spiderweb stuck on my arm. I'm just a old puppet that no one wants to buy for them self's.
Kids these days only want race cars and rocket ships. Kids don't want to play with a puppet, they don't even notice i'm here.
Even if they do they only look at me with disgust. The shop is closing for the night. The costumers leave and the owner looks over to me way in the back.
The kind owner walks towards me and sighs. I know what is happening, i'm being thrown away.
He looks sadly at me while he brushes off the dust and spiderwebs. "I'm sorry, but you have to go. Kids won't want to buy you."
He gently carries me to the back door and sets my down by the bags of garbage in the ally. The owner is a nice man, i'm the one who is at fault here.
It's really dark out here, at least I had a night light back in the shop. Now i'm completely in the dark and alone.
Inside I had the other toys to stare at so I didn't feel so alone, but now I have nothing. I'm just another piece of garbage waiting to be thrown out.
I wish I could just rot and die, die all alone. I can't even sleep, so I just stare into the darkness of the night.
*Morning.*
Now I just have to wait for the garbage truck to come pick me up. *rustle noises.* Huh? What's this sound I hear?
I see black bags moving then a little boy pops up. He looks so young, he has black hair and a scar under his eye.
He's still looks half a sleep, he looks to his side and then in front and sees me. We stare at each other for a while then he breaks the stare.
I see him walking closer to me until he's here and he picks me up in his arms. He has the brightest smile I have ever saw.
But wait why is he picking me up? I thought kids didn't like old puppets like me but, he's smiling at me so happily.
"Hello there i'm Luffy. What's your name?" Why is he asking me this? He should know I can't reply.
"You don't have one? Then i'll give you one lets see...Ace, i'll name you Ace. Hey Ace, want to be my brother? I don't have a brother or family so lets be brothers."
Brothers? How could we be brothers? I'm just a old puppet.
"I don't care if your a human or a puppet, old or new I think you look pretty cool. Shi shi shi." his laugh is so weird, but I like it.
Yeah I like this boy his name was Luffy right? Okay then Luffy i'm your brother even though i'm just a old puppet.
