I woke up excited, it was Christmas! I ran out of bed and over to Meg, my best friends bunk, "Meg, Meg wake up!" I said to her, jumping up and down on the side of the bed, trying to get Meg up was a chore in itself, but it was Christmas for crying out loud! Meg finally groaned and opened her eyes a LITTLE bit,

"What time is it Chrissie?" she asked tiredly, she wasn't a morning person. I looked at the clock in the corner

"Its 7 AM Meg, and its Christmas!" I said, knowing my excitement was obvious in my voice. Meg sat up and looked at her with wide eyes,

"No its not, is it!?!" Meg asked, also getting excited now. I nodded then got up and ran to my bed, grabbing my presents for everyone and running out, calling for Madam Giry. Meg followed, and we ran into her apartments, laughing and arguing about who came in first, when I realized that Madam Giry, or 'Mother' as I had started to call her, was not alone.

(3rd persons POV now.)

Erik turned when he heard the door open, and his eyes widened. He had thought that they wouldn't get up and come here until for at least another hour! He turned to madam Giry and nodded, "Merry Christmas, then, and good day." He said, and then walked out; ignoring the wide eyed stares he was getting from both Meg and Christine.

Christine looked at the man, then shrugged and turned to Madame Giry, "Merry Christmas!" she said, running over to give her a hug and her gift, Meg doing the same a minute later. They exchanged gifts and then Meg and Christine played around the whole day, just having fun before they went back to dance practices tomorrow.

(Christine's POV again.)

At about 7 o'clock that night, I went back to the room and got Angel's gift. I didn't think that it would be good enough for an Angel of Music from heaven. It was a pair of nice cufflinks, I had seen them in a shop window and thought that they were nice, but now I wasn't sure. When I got to the chapel, I nervously sat down on the bench, waiting to hear my Angel's voice.

"Merry Christmas Christine." I heard from all around me and I smiled,

"Merry Christmas Angel." I replied, then looked down sheepishly, "I-I got you a present, but I don't know if you will like them." I admitted in a small voice, and then put it down, knowing he would get it when she left. After the lesson, I got up and bid him goodnight.

(Erik's point of view.)

After she left, I pushed the lever to open the door and went over to the package left on the floor. I opened it and smiled, inside there was a pair of cufflinks that she had chosen just for him. I picked them up and walked back into the tunnel and started whistling a senseless tune, thinking that this Christmas wasn't so bad after all.
