'I'll go with you.'
'No Hermione.' Hermione was stunned. He was willing to surrender himself.
'Don't you understand? I have to do this.'
'Draco…' Hermione sobbed.
'Hermione, I have to surrender. Voldemort wants me Avada Kedavra'd. I didn't fulfill his wishes of killing Dumbledore. I only got as far as disarming him.'
Hermione hugged Draco. Draco gripped Hermione's hand tightly. Hermione put her free hand on Draco's face and wiped a tear.
'You've been meaning to cry have you? You've just swallowed it back?'
'Yeah. I'll miss you Hermione.' Draco hugged Hermione for the last time. He kissed her too.

Voldemort, while dueling two at once, caught sight of Draco doing none other than dueling. But he was dueling somebody. He was dueling a Death Eater! How dare he duel a person of his own kind! But at least he has caught sight of the person he was going to kill.

During the 1 hour retreat.
'Draco….' Voldemort said.
Draco stepped forward from the crowd. Everybody remained silent. Hermione took a few steps backward when Draco revealed himself.
Draco closed his eyes. All the people around him are in complete silence. He could only hear Hermione's sobs.
'AVADA KEDAVRA !'
