AN: I do not own anything Victorious related except this story.
Summary: Robbie and Tori hold a secret that few know of. They knew that they would suffer from it, but not like this. Will it be too much or will love conquer all? Please R&R
"It's all my fault!" I bite down on my lip, holding back tears. "If it wasn't for me-"
"Robbie would have never got to the hospital on time." Andre cuts off. "You most definitely saved his life." The tears fall.
Life. Robbie's life. I hadn't saved it, if anything I ruined it. I was the reason he was in the hospital. The reason he was speeding in his car. The reason he ran away from the party. It's my entire fault.
The visions of the hospital waiting room begin to blur and my eyes become overly moist. Robbie's life was in my hands and . . . it could be gone forever.
"There, there Tori," Cat soothes, rubbing my back. "Robbie is going to be fine!" But was he? I sob harder.
"Tori," Andre pulls me in. "Listen to me-"
"Where is he? Where's my brother?" In rushes a tall, skinny and very leggy brunette. She was red faced with her eyes shooting daggers. I didn't need to smell her fancy expensive perfume to know it was Regina, Robbie's sister.
"You!" Her eye daggers find me. "What did you do to my brother you little no brained, -"
"Hey, hey- now is not the time for name calling!" Beck breaks through Regina's tirade. "Robbie is in surgery; his left side got banged up pretty good by the tree."
"This is all your fault Vega." Regina spits before running out of the room. "Doctor! I need a doctor!"
"That chick's got a bad attitude." Jade quips.
"Thanks Jade." It was nice to have her on my side. "It's nice to know-"
"None of that," She snaps. "We are not bonding over the hatred of Regina Shapiro, okay? Great." She gets up from her seat and begins to leave. "I'm going to the cafeteria, Cat come."
"Kay kay," Cat jumps up and follows Jade out. "Oh hey Ryder!"
In the door way stood Ryder Daniels. All the teen dream I used to think he was and clearly he still thought he was. "That Jade chick's got a bad attitude." He points his thumb back in her direction. "I mean sheesh-"
"You're one to talk." Jade shouts back.
"What are you doing here?" Andre stands and questions protectively.
"I care about Ryan." Ryder puts his hand to his heart. "After all we are costuming partners."
"It's Robbie." Andre corrects. "And I don't think it's best you be here."
"Well that's one opinion." Ryder moves in from the doorway and Beck stops him.
"Make that two opinions." Andre and Beck are standing in the middle of the room, a stand off. Its wrong, so wrong.
"Let him stay." I let out, they look at me like I'm crazy. "Right now should be about Robbie, not Ryder."
"Thank-" Ryder begins to thank me, but I cut him off. Finding my strength, I get up off the chair and walk over to him. Eye to eye, I find words.
"You say you're here for Robbie, so be here for him- and no one else." He nods and in comes Regina with a doctor. From his face you can tell he has had enough of her. His eyes droop and his hands grip too much on his clipboard.
"I'm his sister! Why can't you tell me anything!" She's yelling way too much, the doctor winces in pain.
"Mrs. Shapiro?" He clears his throat and studies the clipboard.
"Mrs. Shapiro? Our mother isn't here- she's in Aspen for the holidays. I'm his guardian until she returns!" Regina's face is redder than when she first came in. Her hair is in shambles and she gives off an air of someone about to lose it.
"I'm Mrs. Shapiro." the secret is out.
