The breeze, caused by the swift hover train, blew through silvers fur. He was waiting. Not only for the train, but for his real journey, the one the train could not take him. It had been a year since the incident with Iblis, Solaris, and Mephiles had occurred, though, for some reason, only silver remembered. He remembered the final battle, the false accusations of a fake "Iblis trigger," but most of all, he remembered blaze… how she gave her freedom to eternally fight an evil creature forever... and how the monster wouldn't disappear because he was now in a separate timeline…and how she'd suffer. It was like he was being tortured. But he quickly shook off the very idea and boarded the train.
His time spent thinking of his past left him nearly no time to board the pure white train cart. The small sub-way style hover train jolted forward for take-off. Silver quickly grabbed for the nearest support beam to hold on to. But it was too late he had already dropped his ticket to his friends. For he had dropped the Chaos Emerald, the only way to cross the gap between times. For, you see, every year there is a crack in time, formed by the hedgehog and his companion's previous adventures, which allowed silver to cross the gap. Although he couldn't talk to them in fear that it might mess with the wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff that held their universe together. So he simply looked, wishing to see his friends again up close. Silver was so lost in thought he nearly jumped at the sound of the women's voice when she spoke.
"Darkness shall rise when shadow falls, and in chaos destroy them all, a hero restored to stop again, the same evil that had risen then." The old lady could barely speak. Her voice was ancient and raspy, while all the same sounding wise.
"E-excuse me?" asked Silver, confused "Where you talking to me?" he said politely. She nodded and looked at him as if he should've understood. "Well may I ask what exactly you meant by that?" She shook her head as if to say no, and when silver asked why she pointed out the window behind them. Silver snapped his head in the direction of her pointed finger, Silver soon found himself gazing at the large tower where he and blaze had first met. But what did that have to do with anything he wondered. Just as he turned to ask the old women, she vanished. Silvers face was riddled with disdain and confusion. How did she-, no time for questions this was his stop.
He was at the forest, which has been reserved, at the exact same place where he first landed in soleanna. He knew he'd end up on the rooftop in the main square though. Just as he always had. But for some reason he felt this time it'd be different this time. Meanwhile a certain blue hedgehog was waiting on the rooftops ready to tackle the white "ghost" said to appear on the rooftop each year.
