Anya and Dimitri were sitting at their home Paris one afternoon. Dimitri is sitting at the piano and Anya is curled up on the couch reading a book.

"Dimitri?"

"Hmmm?"

"Did you ever think that you'd fall in love?" Anya asks him.

"No…well…at least not again anyway," admits Dimitri.

"Again?"

"Well, you see I was in love with this girl when I was a boy 10 years ago and to tell you the truth…" Dimitri's voice trails off as he turns around and starts to play a song on the piano.

Dimitri singing:

I didn't think it could happen again

I'm just too old and set in my ways

I was convinced I would always be lonely

All of the rest of my days

Maybe I give up on romance

In my longing to give up the pain

I just didn't believe I would ever love again

Anya shuts the book she is reading and goes over and sits next to him on the piano bench as she continues to listen to him sing this song.

Dimitri singing:

I was like one who had shut myself in

Closed the windows, locked all the doors

Afraid of the dark and the beat of my heart

Yet knowing there had to be more

Though it sounds like a great contradiction

It's the easiest thing to explain

You see, I was afraid I might never love again

What does it take for a blind man to see

That there's more there than just meets the eye

What are the ways that the magic comes in

That can turn a song into a sigh

Sometimes I think that I'm dreaming

Or maybe I'm going insane

Or maybe it's just that I'm falling in love again

Here I am standing beside you

Oh life's such a wonderful game

Look at me now, I'm falling in love

Look at me now, I'm falling in love

Look at me now, I'm falling in love again

As Dimitri finishes the song, he and Anya share a sweet kiss. After breaking the kiss, she looks at him thoughtfully for a few minutes.

"So, you've been in love once before, Dimitri?"

"Yes, Anya, I have."

"Can I ask who the girl was?"

Dimitri smiles at Anya and answers, "A girl by the name of Anastasia Romanov."

"Can I ask what happened to her?" Anya says with an angelic, yet mischievous smile on her face as they both get up from in front of the piano.

"From what I've heard, she gave up the crown and eloped with a man who was once a servant who worked in the kitchen in the palace," Dimitri replies with a grin on his face as he wraps his arms around his wife a kisses her.

"Hey, I have an idea," says Dimitri.

"What is it?" she asks.

"Why don't we go out and take a stroll through the park and then get some ice cream afterwards."

"That sounds good to me. Let's go," Anya replies with a smile on her face.

As both of them go to get their coats and get ready to leave, Anya turns to Dimitri.

"Dimitri?"

"Yes, darling"

"I love you," she replies as she gives him a kiss.

"I love you too."

Then Anya and Dimitri link arms, of course with Pooka trailing right behind them, as they head out the door to enjoy a wonderful afternoon stroll around Paris.
