The area was in ruins huge craters all over the ground, the castle which had once stood there was now in broken sections.
Goku was getting pummelled by King Piccolo being knocked around like a rag doll. Piccolo was so fast, Goku couldn't even get a single attack in the battle had shifted into Piccolo's favour after he powered up to his maximum potential Goku was now struggling to stand his body was at its limit
"Hah foolish boy you really thought you could challenge me the all powerful Demon King Piccolo you should have stayed in hiding instead of challenging me. Although I have to admit, you're the first one to push me to use full power before you should be honoured" he said
"No I cant give in." thought Goku, "There's too many people depending on me Bulma, Yamcha , Tien and the people of earth. I cant stop now" he stood up defiantly "I WONT LOSE TO YOU!" he screamed charging at Piccolo head on hitting him with a barrage of punches and kicks all of which were blocked by the evil tyrant
"You're starting to get on my nerves boy." Piccolo said sounding annoyed "So hows about I put you out of you're misery. Just like I did with you're friends!" he said delivering a punishing hit to Goku's stomach instantly paralysing him Goku fell to his knees holding his gut in pain.
"Ahahahahahaha what's wrong huh? Where's all that determination you had a minute ago?" Piccolo laughed "Well here take this." he said kicking Goku directly in the gut sending him flying towards the west side of the castle. The impact pushed Goku trough the wall and into the interior.
"And just in case you're still alive... here" said Piccolo "This will finish you." he said sending a huge mouth blast directly towards the building destroying what support it had left, collapsing on Goku's limp body, covering him from the outside world.
"Guess that took care of him." said Piccolo, "Now I can complete my plans and there is no one to stand in my way"
Meanwhile underneath tons of rubble and debris Goku was barely breathing opening his eyes he saw only darkness "N-no..I c-cant...give u-up." he said before falling into unconsciousness he felt like he was dying his life slipping away
He saw a white light up ahead of him and slowly walked towards it encompassing him he suddenly found himself in a clearing of grass and trees. There was a stream near him slowly flowing along. "Wait what am I doing here?" he thought "And where is here?"
"I've been waiting for you to show up." A voice behind him said turning around Goku saw a tall man leaning against a tree he was wearing blue boots with green tips, blue pants, with red wrappings, and a blue chest plate, with green plates in the middle, and hanging down the side, he also had red arm wrappings and looking at his face Goku could see he was wearing a red headband which went around his black spiky hair
"Who are you?" said goku " What is this place?"
