Dipper was alone. He stared at the empty bed next to him. It had already been two years, hadn't it? Why was he still thinking about her? It felt like yesterday when Mabel had...well, at least she wasn't dead. He hoped. She's gone, stuck between dimensions, and that's all he knew. Two years ago, Mabel had accidentally gone through the portal Grunkle Ford had went through. No one was there when it happened, so Dipper had no idea what she did. It's just that Soos was near the vending machine, heard Mabel screaming, and went in the vending machine/basement to see a big flash of light, and then nothing. Just a deactivated portal. He told Great Uncle Ford about it, and Ford assumed Mabel had gone through the portal accidentally. After that, Dipper had gone home and wasn't allowed back to Gravity Falls next year. But tomorrow he was coming back. This summer. This summer, he would get Mabel back. This summer, he would stop at nothing to get his twin sister to come home. And no one was going to stop him. Not Ford. Not Stan. Not Soos or Wendy or Gideon or Pacifica or even Bill. He would kill them all if he had to. It took Grunkle Stan around 30 years to get Great Uncle Ford back. Would it take 30 years for Dipper? No. All he needed was one summer. Dipper doesn't seem like himself without Mabel. His personality...it just seems a lot more evil without her. Almost as if he wasn't the same person. He checked the clock. 1:54 A.M. Jeez, was it that late already? He stared at his pine tree hat, which he took off while sleeping. This summer. He drifted off to sleep.

The next morning, Dipper packed up for the trip. The whole day seemed like a blur. All he remembered was he got on a bus and waited a long time. In the distance he saw a shack. Finally. He was here. The bus halted to a stop. He got off and ran to the Mystery Shack, as well as other Mystery Shack tourists.

"Welcome to a world of mystery!" he greeted to the tourists.

"Grunkle Stan!" Dipper yelled. Grunkle Stan looked at where the familiar voice came from.

"Kid! Come in!" Grunkle Stan replied. Dipper walked in through the door.

"Hey, Dipper." Soos greeted. Dipper gave no response. Wendy was sleeping at the cashier desk. Dipper immediately headed toward the basement.

"Dipper! Go clean up the floor!" Grunkle Stan commanded.

"Shut up," Dipper replied quickly before heading into the basement, Soos watching him with a shocked expression.

Oh, boy.

This was going to be fun.
