On a cold winter night during the new years of 2005. The doctor nearing his final moments before his regeneration. Trying to keep himself together he has to see Rose one more time before it too late. He arrives in front of her apartment waiting for her to come home feeling tired he slumps the wall trying to keep himself.
"You had a wee bit much to drink mate?" He looks over to see rose standing there staring at him.
"No no well I may have had a shot or two." He tries to pick himself up on the wall but falls over.
Before he fall on the ground rose quickly catches him. "Whoa there buddy here I'll call you cab and he'll take you home."
"No it's fine." He picks himself up and brushes himself off. "Sorry for my rudeness, you see recently I had some very unfortunate news, I found out I have cancer and I don't have to live"
"Oh I so very sorry for you." she started to look depressed. "That doesn't seem fair for you."
"Don't look so sad I had full life. I'd been to a lot places and met a lot of people. But there was one person I met in my life I really cared for."
The doctor started to look towards the sky with smile on his face. " She was very beautiful, very sweet women who always put others before herself. But she went away to live with her family. I heard she found somebody who will take good care of her."
Rose looks up at the sky as well. " She sounds like a very wonderful person. I would like to meet her one day." She looks at her watch and shock at what time it is. "I'm very sorry sir but I have to get going it getting late I have to go to bed."
The doctor stops staring the sky and look towards rose. " Oh well It was great talking to you" Rose smiles and starts to walk away. " Oh I sorry for stopping you again but can you tell me what year this is."
Rose starts to chuckle. "You forgot silly it's the year 2005."
The doctor then smiles. "I can sense a great year ahead for you."
Rose smiles and walks back towards her apartment.
The doctor turns around and started to head back towards the tardis. Before he opens the door he started to whisper to himself as tears start rolling down his cheek "I got to see her one time before I'm gone. I'm happy now." He opens the doors to the tardis and walks inside as moments later the tardis disappear.
