Mossie 'Mouse' Carter was never popular, even for a hufflepuff. She looked normal, so normal that no one actually gave her a second glance. Maybe if someone had then things would have been different but they didn't, not even man-whore Sirius Black speared her a glance. She didn't have many friends, she had one loyal best friend Catherine 'Kat' Brown who was very honest and kind but cheeky and mischievous at the same time. They both were. Mossie and Catherine were the second best pranksters in the school only getting beaten by the marauders but even with all this Mossie's inner demons carried on making her feel lost lonely and sad.
Her best friend Kat didn't see how no one noticed her friend. Mouse had long dirty blonde curls, innocent blue eyes and a tomboy taste. She was perfect for anyone, yet no one else saw it. Even if Mouse had been cheeky to a teacher the talk would always just go to quidditch or the marauders latest lame prank. Kat hated this even though she was patient she had had enough of no one noticing her or her best friend.
"Mouse, I think we should show the marauders who's boss, Mouse are you listening? MOUSE" Kat and Mouse were in the library studying for their transfiguration test.
"huh, oh, um expelliarmus?" she had been asleep.
"firstly that was defence not transfig and secondly I was asking if we should prank the marauders." Kat rolled her eyes.
"Dye their hair blue" said Mouse randomly.
"Okey" kat said as if it was normal "got the dye?"
"yep"
"'s go" and with that they left their books just grabbing their prank/school bags.

A big bunch of Gryffindors walked into the common room at eight that night but in their midsts were two girls that did not belong in this group. Those two girls had the wrong uniform on but they where still Hufflepuffs. At midnight they went up to the boy room silent as mice creeping into the third years room they sprayed on permanent blue dye. Both girls sneaked back to the hufflepuff dorm, unaware of how much this would affect a certain Mouses future.
