Author's Note: I'm exploring an AU version of the Trip/T'Pol relationship between Harbinger and Terra Prime by inserting 'missing scenes'. This takes place during The Council (not the easiest episode for a missing relationship scene) and is a very short scene after they encounter each other in Medical. I think it also explains Trip's animosity to many people throughout the episode—he's in a bad mood not just because of his sister. In my version, they've continued their relationship since Harbinger. I intend no copyright infringement and just do this for fun, not money. The characters belong to Paramount.

"Did I do something wrong in neuropressure last night?" Trip asked her when he caught up with her at the turbolift.
"No, you did not," T'Pol said short on patience. She had been stuck at the turbolift and knew, somehow, he'd catch up.
"But Vulcans don't get headaches," Trip said as he watched her carefully.
"The headache is due to a medical condition," T'Pol answered succinctly, hoping to end the conversation.
"What's the matter with you?" Trip asked as the doors opened and they entered together.
T'Pol was disappointed there was no one else in the lift; their conversation would have ended then.
"It's nothing for you to be concerned about," T'Pol said straightening her stance. She had not been meditation much since the Xindi had boarded and found their neuropressure session last night…distracting. They had not had sexual relations, but there had been a great deal of touching and kissing that had kept her up for hours afterwards her brain and body unable to settle.
"But, I am concerned," he said grabbing her elbow gently and turning her to face him. "Are you okay?"
"I think I need some time to meditate and would like to stop our neuropressure sessions for a few days, if that is agreeable to you?" She asked, all-business. She knew his concern was genuine but she had no desire to tell him about her addiction at this point, or in this environment.
Trip narrowed his eyes at her and let go of her arm. She could tell just from the look on his face and the tension in his body she had upset him greatly with her cold responses.
"Whatever you want, Commander," he said coolly as he turned to face the door with his hands joined behind his back.
T'Pol immediately regretted her approach to this discussion. "Trip…"
Just then the turbolift doors opened and he stepped out ahead of her.
"Have a nice afternoon, Commander," he said before he walked onto the Bridge.
T'Pol sighed and closed her eyes before she stepped out of the turbolift and walked towards her station. Being in a relationship with a human was proving to be very complicated.
